The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) launched its new website, MahaCRITI, on September 1. This platform, designed for streamlined complaint filing and regulatory processes, includes instructional videos to aid users. Training sessions for stakeholders, including developers, agents, and lawyers, have been ongoing, covering registration, project updates, and complaint filing. To date, 550 developers, 350 agents, and over 250 lawyers have participated in the training. The website has seen 2,766 users change passwords, 581 promoters update their information, and 17 homebuyer complaints filed. The platform aims to enhance efficiency in real estate transactions and regulatory compliance.
The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has launched its new website, MahaCRITI (Maha-Complaint and Regulatory Integrated Technology Implementation), which went live on September 1. To facilitate users' navigation, instructional videos have been made available online.
As announced earlier, online training has been underway for two weeks following the website's launch, addressing stakeholders' queries. The training covers guidance for complainants, instructions for lawyers on filing complaints, and details about the subsequent process. Developers, promoters, and their self-regulatory organizations are also being trained on using the website for tasks such as registering new housing projects, making corrections, renewing registrations, submitting quarterly and annual progress reports, and filing Form 4 upon project completion. Real estate agents are receiving guidance on registration, corrections, and renewals. Assistance is being provided to all stakeholders to resolve any issues encountered during these routine tasks.
To date, approximately 550 developers, 350 agents, and over 250 lawyers have participated in the training. So far, 2,766 individuals have accessed the new website and updated their passwords. A total of 581 promoters have updated their information on the portal, 8 promoters have registered new projects, and 1 has submitted a renewal application. Among real estate agents, 21 new registration applications have been received, 6 applications for renewals, and 84 agents have updated their information on the system. Maha RERA has also received 17 complaints from homebuyers through the new website.
