• HCBS Developments Limited has partnered with Jindal Stainless to use ‘Jindal Infinity Stainless Steel Rebars’ in its Twin Horizon residential project in Gurugram.
• The rebars are being deployed for diaphragm wall and raft foundation applications due to their corrosion resistance and suitability for high groundwater conditions.
• The 5.29-acre project will comprise two residential towers with 268 housing units and seven commercial spaces.
• Architectural design for the project is being handled by Morphogenesis, while construction execution is being undertaken by Krishna Buildestates Private Limited.

HCBS Developments Limited has partnered with Jindal Stainless for the use of ‘Jindal Infinity Stainless Steel Rebars’ in its Twin Horizon residential development in Gurugram, marking an early-stage adoption of stainless steel reinforcement applications in high-rise residential construction.
The developer stated that the stainless steel rebars are being used in critical diaphragm wall (D-wall) applications and raft foundation works at the project site. According to the company, multiple reinforcement material options were evaluated during the construction planning stage before selecting the stainless steel rebars for their corrosion resistance and lifecycle performance, particularly in conditions involving high groundwater levels.
HCBS said the rebars are manufactured through stringent production processes designed to improve long-term structural durability and reduce maintenance requirements over the building lifecycle. The company added that the use of stainless steel reinforcement at the foundational stage reflects increasing emphasis on structural longevity and material reliability in residential developments.
Located in Gurugram, the Twin Horizon project spans 5.2902 acres and will comprise two high-rise residential towers with 268 residences and seven commercial units. The development is being designed by Morphogenesis, which is handling the architectural planning and design elements for the project.
Construction execution is being undertaken by Krishna Buildestates Private Limited, which has been appointed as the project’s construction partner. The developer said the collaboration with established manufacturing and construction firms is intended to strengthen execution quality and ensure consistency in foundational engineering standards.
Saurab Saharan stated that steel quality and material reliability become particularly important during foundational stages of construction, adding that the decision to partner with Jindal Stainless was driven by the company’s focus on maintaining consistency and minimising compromises in core structural components.
Tarun Khulbe said the increasing use of stainless steel rebars in structural applications reflects a broader shift within the construction sector towards materials offering higher durability, reduced maintenance requirements and improved lifecycle value. He added that developers are increasingly incorporating long-term structural performance considerations into foundational design and construction decisions.
On-site construction activity at the project has progressed into subsequent phases. HCBS stated that excavation and diaphragm wall work for Tower West has been completed, while similar work for Tower East is currently underway as the project advances through its construction cycle.
